Jessica Manns is an embryologist and the creator of ExplainingIVF on Instagram. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of Pittsburgh and her Master of Biomedical Science from Colorado State University in 2018. Since that time, Jessica has advanced her career as an embryologist and currently travels to work in various fertility clinics across the USA. She recently helped develop an ultrafast method for thawing human embryos that is now being implemented as a standard practice in the majority of IVF labs. Jessica created ExplainingIVF to bridge the knowledge gap surrounding topics such as infertility and IVF. She is a board member of two non-profit organizations and is organising the first RESOLVE Pittsburgh DIY Walk of Hope, which will be held in April 2024. Jessica enjoys reading research articles and relating important information to her followers to help them on their journeys.
